Matthew M. Damschroder

Serving as Deputy Director since March 2008, Matthew Damschroder was named Director of the Franklin County Board of Elections in June 2003, one of the twenty-five largest elections jurisdictions in the country. A native of Columbus, Matt graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree is Business Administration. Matt is an Certified Elections and Registration Administrator ( CERA ) through The Election Center (2005), a trustee of the Ohio Association of Elections Officials ( OAEO ), serving as its President in 2007, and is vice-chairman of KidsVoting/Central Ohio. Matt is recognized as a leading innovator in the field of elections administration and is a frequent contributor to the national dialogue on the subject through his service on study groups, panels, media appearances, and testimony before the Ohio General Assembly and the United States House of Representatives.
